I would like to see what happens when Daniel goes to place of incredible natural beauty but has never been to before. I like the idea of Yosemite National Park because that is the most awe inspiring place I have ever been so far, the Grand Canyon would qualify too. It would be good to pick a place that is very different from his experience. So if Daniel has been to many beautiful mountainous places, maybe the canyon or the dessert (Joshua Tree?) would be better. The key is he should never have gone there before. I want to see that first time, "Wow this is amazing" inspiration.

No kidding--I've seen the pyramids, hiked the cliffs of Cinque Terra and Cornwall, the Alps, Fuji, the Acropolis----etc, so I have been all over the place but never been so connected and inspired by a place before. I also love Mica's idea! and also 5 hidden places in NYC--that would be cool. BUT if you want beauty and awe----Machu Pichu, Peru. Mazie
