I think it was no accident that the clever folks at HMWV have selected yet another one of vlog-lands most talented and popular vloggers.

Daniel, making his beautiful, profound, little masterpieces has managed to get great validation from a larger culture that would normally find his work too esoteric for popular consumption and not obtuse enough for high culture.
This was only possible through his use of a videooblog.
So many people searching for some corporate entertaiment pablum on itunes stubled upon real art
and an unsually genuine artist who cares enough to make his art relate to the world we all share.

That is what is most moving to me.
Any now, he is offering up an opportunity to in some way direct his hand.

I think Daniel's own voice (P.o.V) has proven itself, i dont think we should touch it, let's talk audience.

I would like to ask the contributors from vlogland to consider using Daniel's voice as a tool to bring some of the valuable messages we the independent media would like to engage a larger audience in.

Rather than focusing on moving him around physically
Let's see who else he can move.
We all agree that Daniel's work is emotionally moving,
this is one of the most important and persuasive charastics characteristics of any form of communication.

Consider a direct address video messages to a certain person (big wigs in politics, media? a popular writer or filmmaker? someone with a blog?)
you think could benefit from a little pouringdown experience
someone who would either be able to respond themselves or draw a response from the community of people around them
maybe try to get a dialog going with one for the week? or one to a different person each day?
